Fr. Tomasz Wilk OSPPE - pastor Saint Casimir Roman Catholic Church

Fr. Tomasz Piotr Wilk OSPPE (Ordo Sancti Pauli Primi Eremitae) - was born September 1, 1979 in Sosnowiec (Poland). The son of Mary and Waclaw Wilk. Brother of two sisters, Ewa and Anna. He graduated from the IV Stanislaw Staszic High School of the Association of the Creative Schools in Sosnowiec, Poland. He joined the Order of St. Paul the First Hermit in 1999. In the same Order graduated in the field of philosophical and theological treatise taking master's thesis of  "The devotion of Jasna Gora Hodegetria as a sacred image." Priestly Ordinations receives from Archbishop Jozef Kowalczyk - the Apostolic Nuncio in Poland on May 29, 2005. Pastoral ministry begun at Jasna Gora Monastery with Youth Ministry named "Na Halach" and as a Vocation Director of the Pauline Order. At Jasna Góra also worked in Radio Jasna Gora, as one of the editors of this radio station. Commented at that time on Polish TV the first pilgrimage of Pope Benedict XVI to Poland. In 2007 begun doctoral studies in dogmatic theology at the Pontifical Faculty of Theology in Wroclaw, also taking pastoral work in the parish of St. Nicholas in Wroclaw, especially in the communities of the Neocatechumenat. In 2009 is transfered to serve in the American Province of the Pauline Order. For 3 years he served at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA. In 2012 is transferred to the ministry in the parish of St. Joseph in Rockville, CT. Since 2013 serves as a Pastor in the parish of St. Casimir in Yonkers, NY.
